REVIEW: The Hallmark Sequel "Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up" Is as Silly as the First One

Emily and Jared are looking forward to celebrating the holidays together as a couple, and they prepare to work with their neighbors on Evergreen Lane to make this year's Christmas celebrations the best yet.  When a house on the block goes up for sale, the soon-to-be-neighbors are holiday royalty, but they are so competitive that they nearly ruin Christmas for everyone. Christmas in Evergreen DVD Giveaway!

Even for those of us who love Christmas and Hallmark movies in a BIG way, it's not quite the same once the holiday hoopla is over.  Decorations are stored away, retailers are stripped bare until March, and the radio has stopped streaming holiday music (hopefully, you're still listening at home!).  For those of us experiencing a mild winter, we don't even have snow to create the illusion of Christmas!

Hallmark also makes us wait an entire week at a time to see a Christmas movie, unless you're still navigating through the ones on your DVR.

Up for grabs is a Hallmark fan favorite:  The original Christmas in Evergreen DVD.


Remember in 2019's, Christmas in Evergreen:  Tidings of Joy, the town discovered a giant advent calendar time capsule to mark the 50th anniversary of the annual Christmas festival?  

The object of this contest is to decide what YOU would put in a time capsule, knowing it will be revealed in 50 years.  

What Do You Have To Do To Win?

  1. Only members of our Facebook group, Hallmark Christmas Movie Magic, are eligible to win.  If you're not already part of our Facebook family, just click on the link to join.

  2. This blog link will be posted as the announcement at the top of the Facebook discussion page. In the comment section under this Facebook announcement, list 5 things you would include in your time capsule.  It can be anything you want, Christmas-related or not.  If you list 10 things for your time capsule, you will be given two chances to win instead of one.  DO NOT LIST YOUR ITEMS IN THE COMMENT SECTION OF THIS BLOG POST!!!

How Will Winner Be Notified?


One winner will be announced on February 12, 2020, on the Hallmark Christmas Movie Magic Facebook group page.  The winner will be tagged and must private message the group admin with mailing address to receive the Christmas in Evergreen DVD.  The address will be for prize mailing only and not kept, used, or shared for any other purpose.

Winner must provide mailing address by February 17, 2020, or else forfeit the prize.  A new winner will then be randomly selected.

Everything is on an app these days, including the Hallmark Christmas in July 2023 movie schedule. Starring:  Erica Durance, Brennan Elliott, and Barabara Niven  Image:  Hallmark Media Barbara Niven Delivers Top-Notch Performance Move over, Santa, because MS. CHRISTMAS is coming to town! Barbara Niven is stellar in her role of Gale Storm--the woman who, for 24 years, has been selling merchandise every holiday season on HSC (Holiday Shopping Channel). Ms. Christmas oozes more sweetness than a hot chocolate bomb, even when she receives bad news about her declining health.
